Windows 11 Deployment Revert back to Windows 10 Pro

On Windows 11, Microsoft wants you to set up your device with a Microsoft account since it offers some additional benefits, including better integration with the company's cloud services (such as OneDrive and Office), content synchronization between computers, and better security.

Although there are additional benefits to using an online account, many users still want to use the more traditional experience with a local account. The problem is that the company is making it harder to set up Windows 11 without a Microsoft account. For example, Microsoft has already removed the option from the initial setup of Windows 11 Home, and it plans to remove it from the Windows 11 Pro setup in future releases.

When coming to the point in the set up that asks for a Microsoft Account you can perform on of the following methods.

1.  Log into your personal Microsoft Account (not advised) which will install your personal information and files/programs         on this device

2.  Bypass the request for a Microsoft Account with the following:

WIred ethernet set up - unplug the ethernet cable and hit enter.  You will now be allowed to continue set up process

Wireless connection set up - You will have to stop a service:

To bypass Windows 11 Home's Microsoft account requirements, press Shift+F10 to open the Command Prompt and enter this command: taskkill /F /IM oobenetworkconnectionflow.exe . For your information, it will close the Network Connection Flow process.

Alternate method:

1. 1. 1. 1. 1. 1. Use the Shift + F10 keyboard shortcut to open Command Prompt.

               2. Type the following command to release the current network configuration and press Enter:

                  ipconfig /release

Continue on with set up proceedure.....until you can reboot into PXE to install Windows 10.
