Code of Ethics of Adelanto ESD Information Systems Department

Be an Ethical Leader

Have the courage to challenge others when necessary and express moral courage in everything you do.

Consider personal and professional reputation

Your personal reputation is your professional reputation. Everything you do in and out of the workplace reflects the IT department and Adelanto ESD as a whole.

Avoid conflicts of interest wherever possible.

Maintain an enquiring mindset

As educators you should always be in the process of learning. Information Systems is a field of information and information has no use without the knowledge to utilize it.

Not knowing presents a great opportunity to learn something.

Consider the public interest

The primary stakeholder is the public and the public interest is our primary goal as educators. Always regard the community with the highest of respect.

Treat Everyone Fairly

As both educators and technology experts, you must ensure to treat everyone with equality and avoid discrimination, regardless of race, religion, gender, disability, age, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.

Harassment of any kind will NOT be tolerated.
